MichiganLabs is a talented group of Software Developers, Delivery Leads, and UX Designers with a focus on solving some of the most difficult problems in custom software.
Our clients range from locally owned businesses to some of the world’s leading companies. We work in small teams that own our projects all the way from design to deployment. We develop custom mobile, web, and IoT software. Cross-functional communication is a core part of the role. We are expected to communicate well with our team, clients, and stakeholders.
We cultivate expertise in every stage of product creation, resulting in extraordinary digital experiences.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
- Gain an understanding of our integrated development process, tooling, and frameworks, project approach, and apply it to your work as you see fit.
- Working with multiple (2-4) project teams to deliver high-quality software at a sustainable pace
- Being involved in conversations regarding deliverables, goals/priorities, schedule, budget, and technology trends.
- Positively impacting client relationships through the lifecycle of the project, providing value to their business and their users.
- Supporting the client’s product strategy through the facilitation of the project team, tracking project KPIs, and executing the product roadmap
- Solving tactical problems to further project goals
MUST HAVES
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or other industry experience relevant to /Project Delivery
- Experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral settings while adjusting the content for a wide variety of technical and business audiences
- Capable of strong personal/project follow-through in environments with competing priorities
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Use of curiosity and empathy in pursuit of project outcomes
- Attention to detail and project specifics
- Ability to self manage, and strong multi-tasking skills
- Enthusiasm for personal growth and development
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience working as a Scrum Master on an Agile Development team
- Experience with Software Development
- Consulting background
- Experience in acceptance criteria testing
