Senior Tax Manager

Hybrid Schedule Available Working remote Tuesday & Thursday OR Wednesday & Thursday
Job Summary
The Energy Equipment Senior Tax Manager will report to the Energy Equipment Tax Director and will be expected to perform the following primary duties and responsibilities: develop and manage workplans for strategic tax projects for the EE segment, advise on tax implications of cross border contracts to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures, carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis, and provide practical day to day operational tax guidance.
Responsibilities
- Advise on tax implications of cross border contracts
- Perform tax risk assessments to optimize worldwide tax efficiency and mitigate tax exposures
- Carry out quarterly FIN48, FAS5 exposure analysis
- Implement, monitor and help to develop transfer pricing policies
- Provide practical day to day operating guidance
- Work closely with operations, sales, finance, HR and accounting departments
- Interact with third-party tax advisors
- Assist with projects related to restructuring and acquisition implementation
- Perform tax research and draft technical memos
- This role does not perform tax preparation/compliance activities
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Big 4 and/or large multinational public company
- Experience with cross border tax issues including permanent establishment, tax treaties & WHT
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced MS Office
- Exposure to transfer pricing
Education
- BS in Accounting or Finance Required
- Advanced Degree in Accounting, Taxation or Law preferred
- CPA or JD preferred
