Overview

Vlocity Salesforce Engineer is responsible for the development and integration of custom solutions like Vlocity, Apex classes, Visualforce, and more on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Able to Build and configure Vlocity applications to meet business requirements
  • Understanding the functional requirements, support detailed documentation of systems and feature, and work on technical designs
  • Able to troubleshoot and debug issues and provide resolutions
  • Design, implement, and trouble-shoot scalable and reusable software/API systems: n-tier and cloud-based systems.
  • Actively support configuration management of code and software.
  • Act as liaison between external vendors and internal product, business, engineering, and design teams.
  • Provide (technical) leadership to build, motivate, guide, scale, and mentor team members including performance management coaching
  • Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management.
  • Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in Salesforce and in Vlocity.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Vlocity components - Omniscript, DataRaptor, Document Template, Apex Language, VistualForce, Lighting Web Components, Customer Objects, Lightning Design system (LDS) etc.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex rules
  • Experience in Components with web-based technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and modern frameworks like Angular, jQuery, React.js or similar.
  • Hands on Salesforce experience with Salesforce Cloud
  • Knowledge of Salesforce REST, SOAP and Metadata API and integration experience with calling external REST/SOAP APIs and web services from Salesforce
  • Must be comfortable working with structured data interchange formats including JSON and XML
  • Knowledge of agile processes, software development lifecycle and supporting tools
  • Experience in CI/CD – GitHub, Jenkins etc.
  • Good to have: Full stack engineering knowledge / experience, with an emphasis on Micro Services development, UI development using Angular / React, Data base systems etc.
  • Good to have: Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST). Python or other scripting language experience

Our Sr. Specialist Product Development Engineers earn between $105,600.00 - $158,400.00, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
