AAA Club Alliance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Travel Strategy Specialist to join our dynamic team ! This position will be a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home 2 days during the week and report to the Wilmington, DE office location 3 days.
The Sr. Specialist, Digital Travel Strategy will be responsible for a range of strategic online initiatives, partnering with both business and technology stakeholders to increase the Digital Travel vertical. This role will use analytics to influence upwards and laterally to drive digital change and ensure alignment with Travel strategy.

Primary responsibilities :
- Collects data from multiple sources and pro-actively monitors, analyzes, and interprets all online travel financial, booking, and sales information.
- Packages strategic and analytical insights into clear, concise and “executive-ready” presentations.
- Measures and tracks web traffic, marketing initiatives and campaigns as related to digital impressions and sales in order to make recommendations and improvement to maximize growth.
- Identifies business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
- Develops and tests digital strategies that impact the company’s bottom line through workflow analysis and system reviews.
- Ensures that recommendations are driven through to implementation, by providing thought leadership and, when necessary, stepping in to lead execution.
- Defines success metrics for the Travel Sales business line on the website, and provides timely web analytics reporting as related to online travel sales to key stakeholders including digital and marketing teams.
- Oversees travel web page optimization based on metric performance, and action planning based on site usage and campaign performance.
- Stays up-to-date on the latest digital trends and continual innovation opportunities.
- Executes online sales strategy in conjunction with the travel marketing and social media business lines.
- Provides analysis of online sales, trends, and competitive analysis in order to meet strategic growth goals.
- Develops and implements analytical frameworks to monitor and optimize the concrete impact tactics are having on key business results.
- Makes recommendations to other internal stakeholders in order to increase travel ROI.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. A degree in other field in combination with years of experience and certifications may be considered.
- 5 – 8 years of applicable experience; 3 – 5 years of years of digital online experience preferred, travel experience a plus.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to develop, analyze and interpret financial and operational data.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL preferred), BI Tool, and PC based programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Technologically savvy with ability to learn new systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively develop and structure reports for easy interpretation.
- Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings to all levels of travel and business management.
- Understanding of sales across a variety of platforms including traditional retail, online, and social media channels.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Can handle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality, accurate work.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.93 - $30.02 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
