Outreach And Engagement Specialist

Job Description:

· Conduct outreach efforts to identify and engage individuals who may benefit from

substance abuse or mental health services.

· Develop relationships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and

other stakeholders to promote awareness of available services.

· Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and workshops to raise

awareness of substance abuse and mental health issues.

· Collaborate with community partners to implement targeted outreach strategies and

initiatives.

· Provide education and information about available treatment options, resources, and

support services.

· Conduct screenings and assessments to determine individuals' needs and refer them to

appropriate services.

· Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of outreach activities, contacts, and referrals.

· Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a seamless transition for individuals referred to services.

· Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance Outreach and Engagement skills.

· Collect and report data on outreach efforts, outcomes, and program effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.

· Experience in community outreach, engagement, or related roles.

· Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health services and resources.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with diverse populations.

· Familiarity with community engagement strategies and cultural competency.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Proficiency in data collection and fundamental data analysis.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
