Sr. Global Market Development Manager - Precision Oncology

The Senior Global Market Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and actively leading global Market Development plans for comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) in oncology. Ideal candidates for this position will have knowledge of genomic profiling in Precision Oncology (CGP)by next-generation sequencing (NGS) and role of CGP in research and routine testing. He /she should understand how biomarker testing technologies developments are being translated into clinical practice, the oncology genomic profiling market and its segmentation, and products on the market. They will be responsible for defining and implementing globally developed campaigns, whilst closely working with Product Management, Research and Development, Medical Affairs, and Regional marketing teams and support regional implementation.
The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader, acting as cross functional project team lead and combining strong scientific understanding with strategic analysis, eye for business and marketing/Market Development skills.
Key responsibilities:- Lead cross functional teams as an individual contributor to develop positioning and go to market strategy for our product portfolio.
- Develop annual strategic and tactical marketing plans and socialize them with internal and external partners. Update plans quarterly based on opportunities and channel feedback.
- Develop messaging and tools that communicate the value and brand directly to the target audience through multiple channels, including sales force, digital marketing, events, and word of mouth strategy.
- Develop and cultivate external partnerships as collaborators and speakers during these educational activities
- Maintain relevant knowledge of driven activities and develop effective countermeasures.
- Evaluate efficiency of channel programs and improve upon them.
- Performs detail analysis and routine reporting around business performance and segmentation.
- Master’s Degree is required in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or other related science field.
- 6+ years within a marketing or product development role in life sciences or diagnostic industry.
- In-depth understanding of the genomic profiling applications and technologies in oncology.
- Customer focused, results driven, and demonstrate intuition for business.
- Ability to develop, align and implement impactful tactical plans with clear objectives, quality deliverables, and key performance metrics.
- Ability to work on problems of routine to diverse scope.
- Ability to influence at a senior level without direct authority.
- Identifies problems, proposes resolutions, answers questions from customers and sales colleagues, gains partnership of others to implement efficient solutions.
- Shown experience in a strategic role working collaboratively and independently to get results.
- Provides routine updates through verbal and written communication of successes, failures, best practices, and more to improve the overall operating efficiency
- Excellent presentation skills
- Interpersonal effectiveness and rapport building.
- Self-directed, persistent, and goal-oriented.
- Candidate must have outstanding networking and influencing skills and ability work across organization and in matrix and sophisticated environment.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Experience with next-generation sequencing products and/or applications in Precision Oncology market and competitors is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $122,000.00–$155,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
