Foot Locker has an immediate opening for a Sr. Manager, NA Stores Maintenance who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a programmatic portfolio ownership, client focused, collaborative approach; anticipating client needs, thinking strategically and solutions focused while being innovative and both proactive and reactive, pivoting as needed as the situation, can client goals dictate.
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Sr. Manager leads the management and delivery of all facility services, and sustainability initiatives across all Foot Locker Stores and designated Corporate locations in North America. This position is responsible for managing the facilities expense and capital budgets, including identifying savings opportunities related to the facility spend while maximizing asset performance and life cycle efficiencies. The individual is responsible for management of landlord and vendor relationships and establishes and maintains standard procedures for interaction with service providers. This individual is also responsible for management and development of the facilities supervisor(s) and coordinators across the GEO’s.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic direction and planning of Facility Services for North American GEO’s, ensuring alignment with global strategic direction.
- Coordinates all matters relating to implementing standards, streamline efficiencies and maintain a high level of quality control throughout the life cycle of built environments.
- Drive processes, oversee all active / completed repair and maintenance, fire/life safety work and sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and local legislation.
- Responsible and accountable for assisting in developing annual capital and expense budgets and management and execution of the same for both GEO stores and designated Corporate locations.
- Develop and implement with peers and matrix partners, a programmatic approach to protect and maintain each asset, establishing , clear guidelines, standards and criteria by which the facilities team can effectively execute.
- Partner with construction and operations teams, ensuring smooth handover and implementation of facilities services for all new, remodeled and relocated locations and termination for all closing facilities.
- Lead, manage, train, coach and develop facilities team, increasing capabilities and capacity, identifying key talent and high potentials.
- Partner with Helpdesk and internal teams to ensure routine and emergency service requests are handled effectively and in a timely manner.
- Negotiate with vendors manage relationships across all locations, evaluating based on performance, SLA, and customer service.
- Provide technical expertise on all facilities services provided.
- Maintain awareness of governmental policies and practices that impact areas of responsibility.
- Ensure adherence to Company Risk Management policies.
- Travel to effectively manage and develop GEO Team, vendors, programs and relationships.
- On-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, Technical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of related work experience.
- Most have working knowledge of building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Confident, decision maker, with ability to manage ambiguity.
- Strategic and tactile, innovative, forward thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in People Soft a plus.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to comprehend and negotiate contracts.
- Ability to lead and direct external resources.
Benefits
The annual base salary range is $100,000 - 115,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
