POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Manager Customer Acquisition creates a business acquisition hub focused on accelerating higher value acquisition through innovative platforms, strong machine partner collaboration, and robust product launch plans. This role works a hybrid model, with 2-3 days on-site in our Manhattan, NY HQ.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Lead the strategic collaboration framework with Machine Partners (MP):
- Act as the subject matter expert on machine partner business models, contracts, and collaboration principles
- Serve as the main contact person for Machine Partners and represent their voice within the Nespresso organization
- Create, align, and own a yearly MP roadmap to support Nespresso Operational Plan targets and initiatives
- Monitor Machine Partner performance and establish action plans in case of deviations from objectives
- Continuously align and refresh the MP-Nespresso category vision for Single Serve machines in the US market, working closely with Trade HQ, Marketing, and Machine Partners
- Lead Quarterly Top to Top reviews with Machine Partners and Nespresso leadership
- Facilitate market initiatives by coordinating with Machine Partners (and potentially HQ) at the Market Level
- Gather and circulate all relevant information through reporting and effective communication vehicles to key stakeholders throughout the organization
- Manage Trade Promotion communication to machine partners
Unlock new acquisition tools and touchpoints across channels:
- DTC machine sales acceleration: Identify and lead new tactics and touchpoints to fuel DTC machine sales to prospects, including partnerships, direct selling initiatives, B2B2C opportunities, and SBUX to Nespresso opportunities
- Trade acquisition tools: Empower trade with relevant merchandising, demand creation, and trial tools to accelerate acquisition, including demo programs, TMA, Nestle merchandising program, VABs, etc.
- NM conversion: Drive new member conversion rate by optimizing existing cross-functional programs (TMA, Linkout Ads) and uncovering new opportunities such as digital engagement tools, OPR, voucher redemption rate, unboxing experience, SBUX conversion tactics. Support MKT CRM in mapping existing and new customer journeys and ensuring consistency of messaging across touchpoints
Acceleration of High-Quality Acquisition:
- Machine Channel strategy: Lead and continuously refresh channel segmentation, assortment strategy, investment strategy, and promo guardrails to accelerate high-quality acquisition
- New Product launch: Act as Sales lead across machine, coffee, and accessories in partnership with Product Marketing and Brand Communications teams. Support new launches with appropriate internal communication, liaising between Trade Marketing, Marketing, Retail, Sales Team, and Machine Partners
People Management:
- Ensure the development of careers, succession plans, and coaching of employees under Functional responsibility
- Manage and comply with the HR and Nespresso Talent Cycle (PDP, Talent, and succession) in strong connection with GT Development partner
- Implement an optimal organizational structure and tasks within the department to ensure effectiveness and meet evolving business requirements
- Drive the team to run efficient operations/trade activities, keeping them highly motivated and committed
- Define annual training needs and provide daily basis feedback and on-the-job training (NN guidelines, Business insight, coaching & feedback)
- Regularly monitor and review weekly/monthly/yearly targets
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, or comparable with MBA nice to have
- 8+ years of experience in Operations, Retail, and/or Marketing
- Significant experience in stakeholder management and working with senior management
- People leadership experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000- $190,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
