Sr. IT Business Analyst (Documentation)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. IT Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and produce documentation for large, complex technical projects. Will work on 3 - 4 projects simultaneously, starting and ending at various stages. Position requires innovation, problem solving, detail oriented, collaboration, and facilitation.
Location- Onsite Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW)
Salary $59.40/hr. W2 (plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week
Required Experience (5+ years):
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT project team environment.
- Experience writing business functional requirements for technical projects.
- Experience using Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies.
- Experience writing comprehensive documentation and diagrams encompassing business processes, use cases, and data mapping.
Responsibilities:
- Produce comprehensive documentation and diagrams encompassing business processes, use cases, data mapping and other relevant aspects.
- Conduct gap and root cause analysis to identify underlying needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative methodologies to document solutions into comprehensive requirements and user stories.
- Facilitate requirements walk-throughs, design review meetings, and demos at all levels, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Apply excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
Airport Special Requirements:
Must obtain an Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a badge upon each badge renewal.
