What We Need:

What You'll Do:
Department: iHeartMedia Inc. IT Service Desk Team
The Service Desk Intern will participate in Service Desk efficiency optimization. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Excellent presentation skills to a diverse audience group - technical and non-technical users
  • Provide support to IT Operations by defining and supplying consistent, accurate metrics to assist with business decisions
  • Provide advanced data support such as trending, regression analysis, predictive modeling and other such methodologies to assist IT leaders in making informed decisions.
  • Present IT analytics formatted for Sr. Leadership consumption
  • Derive conclusions and make recommendations based on rigorous data analysis
  • Responsible for defining, maintaining and training for IT Operational reporting standards and formats
  • Collaborate with all matter experts across IT to promote good data stewardship and insure alignment
  • Compile benchmark data for comparison purposes

To join the Team you will need the following experience:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Services, or related technical field. 3.0 GPA is preferred
  • As a media company, knowledge around sales, radio, and the music industry as a business is helpful
  • Knowledge of the Service Now, contact center analytics, equipment procurement & logistics, ITIL process, incident and problem management, as well as agile/scrum is helpful
  • Basic knowledge of Service Now, AWS, 3C Logic

Preferred Skills:
  • Skills in public speaking, training, and technical writing
  • Ability to learn products and concepts quickly and thoroughly
  • Analytical and structured thinking/problem solving - understanding true root causes, effective counter measures and continuous improvement practices, attention to detail
  • Data visualization and presentation tools experience is a plus
  • Research and analytics skills
  • Ability to be a good voice of the customer and understanding of what would drive customers to use products, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, including executive and senior management teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to a diverse audience group - technical and non-technical users
  • Excellent documentation skills in various medias - Word, Lucidchart, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Highly organized, exceptional problem solving skills, ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including statistical analysis and mathematics
  • Data driven and results oriented
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high volume workload situations, work independently, and strong desire to overcome challenges
  • Strong solution orientation and the ability to anticipate problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
