Senior Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Senior Inventory Coordinator supports the inventory department in the overall process of inventory management. They use their attention to detail, curiosity, problem solving and critical thinking skills to monitor, analyze and maintain various reports that are essential to the inventory management process. Becomes an expert in the product lines, systems, and processes for inventory management. As a central point of contact for item and inventory related questions, this individual will support both internal and external customers, by working independently and collaboratively to address questions and find solutions. Able to create well thought out decisions using our core NetSuite ERP system and Excel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the reprint logs and tracking. Communicates with Product Development regarding titles that are up for reprint. Facilitates movement of the reprint processes.
- Performs product set-up and maintenance.
- Generates analysis using Excel, NetSuite (ERP system), and other data using problem solving and critical thinking skills to make recommendations and decisions for answers to inventory related issues.
- Researches and responds to inventory questions from internal and external customers.
- Manages back orders and order release timing for new product inventory releases.
- Manages depository partnership, inventory, order requests and disposition requests.
- Maintains, monitors, updates, and communicates various inventory reports including receipts.
- Researches and resolves warehouse and depository inventory variances using weekly reconciliation process.
- Manages the analysis and forecast planning of a simple product category.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Develop your own skills and contribute to the methodologies and tools used to support the department as well as internal and external customers.

Education and Experience:
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain inventory control or similar environment.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with NetSuite ERP System
- Experience with print procurement, book publishing, graphic production, or publishing background.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 4 years of relevant work experience

- Ability to generate reports and analysis using MS Excel
- Effective at performing detail-oriented tasks and data analysis.

- Broad understanding of supply chain functions, best practices, and issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong computer literacy
- Proficient computer skills: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
- Experience using an ERP system.
- This position is mostly remote with some in-office days (manager will be remote for majority of time)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
