Responsibilities include disposition of all production orders, warehouse signal board administration review and updates, intra company transfers, product requests, executing SAP inventory transactions, cycle counting, replenishments, destruction of usable and unusable inventory, and support of all Materials Warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute the process of production orders, warehouse signal board management, intra company transfers, product requests, and destruction of starting materials.
- Contact with flow leadership and personnel is required. Acts as lead contact between Operations and Materials Warehouse communicating issues and provides timely updates for issues that impact the production schedule and/or business.
- Conducts SAP inventory transactions such as cycle counts, recounts, replenishments, and inventory reconciliations.
- Resolves inventory and order management issues to ensure that customer service objectives are met. Ensures inventory accuracy is maintained and assists with internal external inventory audits as required.
- Assist with in-house damage inventory control activities. Identify and verify in- house damaged starting materials to ensure proper SAP inventory updates along with proper disposition of materials.
- Assists with organizing and executing pallet preparation for destruction. Prepare pallets identified as obsolete, no longer available for use, or disposition for destruction and coordinate material pickup with 3rd party destruction representative.
- Acts as a back-up for Inventory Specialist and Logistic Technicians critical functions normally performed by team members as required. To ensure critical tasks are completed in a timely manner to maintain business continuity. Coverage during PTO and to assist as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-2 years' demonstrated knowledge in Warehousing.
- 1-2 years' experience in SAP or similar WMS Systems
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with all departments within the organization.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, in oral and written form, with peers, superiors, and both internal and external customers.
- Proficiency in SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to recognize a problem, ability to apply quick fix and communicate with management on status of the problem.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor degree in supply chain or related discipline
- 2-5 years' demonstrated knowledge in Warehousing.
- 2-5 years' experience in SAP or similar WMS Systems
