GENERAL SUMMARY:
This job is responsible for managing the inventory and database systems within the company warehouse and laydown yard, ensuring accuracy and a productive flow of information
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development of the new inventory module and ultimately take ownership of all inventory processes.
- Develop Process and procedures for inventory best practices.
- Assist in strategic planning based on project demand.
- Perform shipping, receiving, order picking for a large manufacturing company.
- Utilize forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring the efficient and economical utilization of space for storing and distributing finished goods and equipment inventories.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory flow through process and procedure verification, system review audits, and transaction documentation to improve inventory security and tracking.
- Correct overages and shortage errors from the distribution center or outside vendors accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze system transactions and investigate inventory data entry to ensure accuracy in the ERP system.
- Perform full warehouse inventory counts as well as weekly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to maintain inventory security and a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as specified by management in support of the branch/warehouse operations.

EDUCATION, LICENSES AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum one year of general factory, warehouse, inventory, finished goods item and line picking experience preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience with an ERP system required; experience with Acumatica ERP system preferred
- Must be able to complete a successful DOT physical, possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (not required if working in Distribution Center)
- Forklift certification preferred
- Oil and gas experience preferred
