POSITION SUMMARY:
- Serve as Business Partner and advisor to management team in matters regarding workforce strategy, organizational development, training, business performance, employment law, employee relations, and organizational compliance. Partner with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High level of employee relations responsibility; provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; and organizational design consultation.
- Recommend, build, develop, and facilitate training for internal staff
- Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department via UKG; recommend solutions to HR team and business
- Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; and organizational design consultation.
- Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis on current and future state staffing and skill needs and designs talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs
- Interpret HR and employment policies and procedures; provide internal consulting services in these areas
- Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; and organizational design consultation.
- Conducts ongoing supply and demand analysis on current and future state staffing and skill needs and designs talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
- Suggest new HR strategies for business growth and workforce expansion
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA in related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a HR Generalist and/or HR Manager. Certification required in some areas
OR
- MS/MA and 5 years of experience in related field.
- Prefer SHRM or HRCI Certification
- HR Work in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Prefer previous experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device/healthcare industry

- Knowledge of HR related laws (wage and hour, FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA, and other regulatory requirements)
- Knowledge of policy development and standard operating procedure (SOP) development as it relates to Human Resources
- Knowledge of Human Resource Management systems required, UltiPro/UKG strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Office specifically PowerPoint and Excel
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is typically performed in a normal office environment. Required to be in the Marietta office 4 days per week.
