Overview:

As an HR Business Partner at Wyze, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our people strategies with the dynamic needs of our tech-driven organization. You will collaborate with our people team and business leaders to provide strategic HR support, foster an inclusive and high-performance culture, and help drive our growth. We are looking for someone who is passionate about enabling our employees to succeed and contributing to making Wyze an exceptional place to work.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Work with the people team to act as a strategic partner to management and leadership teams, providing support, insights and guidance on HR matters that align with business objectives. Be able to provide alternate points of view when necessary to ensure best outcomes.
  • Partner with the people team using data driven decision making to scale our HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, growth, and innovation.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Champion a culture of inclusion, motivation and engagement within the organization.
  • Oversee the management and resolution of complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Identify role models and support communications and relationships that build morale and improve employee retention.
  • Identify team level resource and performance constraints and challenges.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with the people team and leadership on performance management, feedback, and development strategies.
  • Partner with people team on succession planning, compensation, promotions, leveling and benchmarking.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training and development needs across the organization.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and best practices in partnership with the people team.
  • Leverage HR reporting and analytics to review and provide actionable insights on key HR indicators, such as employee turnover, headcount, etc. Highlight trends and identify emerging needs and address them with innovative programs, tools and processes.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures in partnership with the people team.

Change Management:

  • Guide the organization through periods of change, such as technological advancements and organizational growth.
  • Support change management initiatives and effective employee communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in HRBP or related roles, with a strong background in the technology industry.
  • Profound knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to earn trust, build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable in conflict management.
  • Sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated success in using data analysis to make business decisions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a strong asset.
