Sr. Hr Business Partner, Technology (Hybrid)

Job Description
We're looking for a Senior HRBP to join our fabulous HR Technology team. True to technology, these leaders love to innovate - they are constantly looking for easier ways to achieve outcomes (they're engineers, after all). This is a great role for someone with a natural inclination to bring data into the conversation - someone who thrives digging into a spreadsheet to find patterns and information that can influence leaders and inform decisions. You'll also coach and consult with leaders at multiple levels to help them achieve their business strategies by focusing on employee engagement, talent management, organizational effectiveness and inclusion and belonging.
A day in the life...
This Sr. HR Business Partner role touches all aspects of Human Resources while directly partnering with our businesses to design and implement programs that tie back to business strategy. Your business acumen, interpersonal skills, and ability to make data driven decisions and recommendations will be critical.

• Serves as a trusted advisor for the business, using external and internal insights, data, and trends to identify and help solve key people and business issues
• Identifies people priorities for the organization/client group and aggregates larger cross-group themes
• Acts as a leadership coach - understanding each leaders' strengths and opportunities, builds a relationship of trust, and gives candidate and honest feedback - all with the goal to improve each leaders' performance and potential
• Actively supports team effectiveness by identifying opportunities and bringing suggestions forward for improving team trust, collaboration, and ways of working
• Partner with business to drive and implement Nordstrom's Diversity's Inclusion and Belonging strategy, initiatives, and efforts
• Leads the prioritization of learning, talent, and compensation activities in partnership with SMEs in support of business priorities and goals
• Supports the development and execution of a talent strategy that enables the achievement of business goals and ensures the identification and development of future leaders and other critical talent.
• Partners with business leaders on workforce planning and organizational design efforts. Proactively identifies opportunities to optimize the organization - structure, size, workforce composition - in support of business outcomes.
• Co-develops change management and employee engagement efforts with business leaders
• Serves as a mentor across broader HR team

You own this if you have...

• 7+ years directly applicable HR experience - partnering with business leaders to drive strategic and effective people outcomes. Experience in both HR Business Partner role and specialist area preferred
• Strong business and HR acumen with ability to consult effectively and influence at all organizational levels
• Experience successfully leading change management efforts for organizations undergoing large scale transformation. Track record of successfully leading and delivering large, complex programs across multiple teams/organizations
• Experience using quantitative data analysis and interpretation skills to tell stories and influence leadership decision-making to drive positive HR outcomes
• Experience partnering with business leaders to develop and implement effective organizational designs using "best in class" tools and practices
• Ability to partner across multiple teams within HR to deliver effective solutions
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Bachelors degree in related field preferred; Master's degree strongly desired

This is a hybrid position requiring the selected candidate to be located within a commutable distance of one of the following Technology hubs cities:

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $110,000 - 210,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
