THE ROLE:
The Sr. Financial Analyst, SEC Financial Reporting will assist the team with Financial Reporting and analysis, including but not limited to: Internal and External Reporting ("SEC Reporting"), Consolidation Analyses, accounting research, and other special projects.
This position will assist during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles; the preparation of SEC filings (10Q and 10K) and related interactive data; and will be responsible for the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, consolidation analyses, and other analyses as needed. In addition, this person will assist in accounting research, transactional accounting support for our foreign and domestic entities, and writing technical papers ("white papers").
The position will report to the Senior Manager of SEC Financial Reporting so the candidate must have an understanding of U.S. GAAP and excellent communication skills.

Skills:
• Fast learner capable of multitasking in dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing environment using strong accounting skills and experience, in conjunction with excellent analysis and analytical skills while using Microsoft Excel. Must have the ability to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions and formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional presentation delivery by using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
• Great teammate and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• Detailed oriented, self-motivated, and has the ability to utilize project management skills to accurately prioritize
• Must be comfortable with dealing with complex accounting matters and discussing with the controllership team. Will also be responsible for leading the discussions on certain issues.
Experience:
• 4-6 years of combined corporate and public accounting experience, or public accounting experience only. Will consider lighter accounting experience if achieved Sr. Auditor status in a Big 4 firm and have CPA license or CPA license eligible.
• SEC Reporting Experience and/or experience with SEC filers
• Writing detailed technical memos on complex accounting issues
• Proven proficiencies using large ERP and accounting software (i.e., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP)
Education
• Bachelor's (BS/BA/BBA) degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an accounting emphasis
