Sr. Electronic Sensor Integration Engineer, Vehicles

Tesla is seeking a Low Voltage Integration Engineer with focus on sensors. This engineer will act as the subsystem expert during design, bring-up and ramp for multiple low voltage components. This engineer will be responsible for ensuring product functions are successfully achieved when subsystems interact in the context of the whole vehicle.

• Relevant Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience
• 2-5+ years of experience in hardware systems design, systems architecture, systems integration, or related field
• Strong electrical and embedded systems fundamentals  
• Previous experience in sensing and/or communication system design or integration
• Hands-on technical experience debugging complex subsystems involving network microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices.  
• Ability to understand and highlight n-th order impacts of electrical, software, mechanical, or process changes  
• Ability to read and interpret C/C++ or similar embedded systems languages  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills  
• Experience in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis  
• Proficient in data visualization  
• Experience in failure mode analysis, HARA, and FTA
