This position will lead HGA's Building Technology's Healthcare efforts by working closely with HGA's nationwide healthcare principals and clients to enable improved health, operational, and business outcomes through the strategic implementation of current, new, and future technologies. This is a leadership, design, and business development position in Healthcare Technology that requires well organized work processes, good people skills, effective communications style in team settings and user groups, and a passion for high-quality design.
We recognize that there is a wide range of low voltage building systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general building technologies as well as technologies specific to the healthcare market and will possess the ability to apply these technologies strategically to improve our client's businesses and their patients' outcomes. Typical healthcare experience might cover systems such as:
- Electronic Medical Records Systems
- Patient Monitoring and Tracking Systems
- Patient Management Systems
- Staff Automation, Compliance, and Workflow Systems
- Wired and Wireless Voice and Data Networks
- Nurse Call Systems
- Audiovisual systems including presentation, digital signage, etc.
- Security systems including access control, video surveillance, duress, etc
- A B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other applicable design and engineering fields
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the design of Low Voltage Systems including Telecommunications Infrastructure, Security Systems - Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion/Duress, Audio/Video Systems, Digital Signage and Paging/Sound Masking Systems for healthcare and healthcare related projects
- Certifications in their low voltage specialty
- Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred
- Willingness to seek and obtain new certifications as needed to perform the role
- Manufacturer certifications in relevant design capabilities and systems/product understanding are a plus
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $73,200 to $141,200.
