Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions while working closely with our HR professionals. The HR Intern will contribute to the success of our HR initiatives and projects and will have the chance to learn about recruitment, employee relations, training, and other areas of HR.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Participate in conducting initial phone screenings of candidates to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparing new hire packets, conducting orientations, and assisting with paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records in both physical files and digital systems.
  • Help in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in compiling data and generating HR reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Handle general administrative tasks within the HR department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR and a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to take initiative and assist with various tasks as required.
