Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our client for a remote opportunity! This is an evening shift 2pm-11pm EST Monday-Friday. The successful candidate will provide technical and telephonic support to claim department representatives, ensuring exceptional service to our valued customers. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $19.25/HR!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone service and assistance to company customers and other claim-related parties.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a polite, timely, and accurate manner.
- Enter and maintain required claim information into the company claim system.
- Notify appropriate technical personnel about new losses and technical inquiries.
- Provide pre and post-loss material to assigned customers as required.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties as required or directed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish) including translation is a plus.
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience preferred.
- Advanced and accurate typing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Microsoft Office platform).
- Poise, tact, and diplomacy at all times.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, especially during catastrophes.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
- Clear and concise communication with customers, claimants, and other involved parties.
- Ability to sit for long periods and consistent data entry/typing ability.
