As a sourcing manager in Distribution Sourcing, this partner will develop, own and execute sourcing strategies and help build and execute a value pipeline in the distribution space. This role will be focused on CDCs and RDCs in North America. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for that next step in sourcing through cultivating partnerships with new and existing 3PL providers and also internal cross-functional stakeholders.
As a sourcing manager in Distribution Sourcing, you will…
o Develop, own and execute sourcing strategies that enable bottom line and top line company growth
o Build and execute against a value pipeline by leveraging relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to identify and drive value
o Management of core and routine suppliers, cultivate partnerships with new and existing suppliers through the lens of Starbucks values
o Works with providers and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and negotiate contracts in line with legal and business requirements
o Protects the organization by identifying, assessing and mitigating supplier and supply chain risk
