Position Overview

We are looking for a residential solar veteran to join our sales team. This position is responsible for building relationships with our sales partners and their representatives, and helping them succeed with ESP as their EPC. Importantly, this is not a reactive, customer service position. The right person will be driven to constantly reach out to our partners to deepen the partnerships to both earn their business and help them become a more successful organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Call, Zoom, visit, and dine our existing dealer partners to ensure that we are doing what we can to earn and retain their business
  • Communicate program challenges from the dealers’ point of view and be their champion
  • Coordinate and drive effective dealer onboarding and ongoing training
  • Facilitate any needed resource allocation so that dealers are educated and motivated to partner with ESP
  • Build and maintain expert knowledge on our finance options and sales related SOPs
  • Update dealer forecasts monthly for accuracy and other communications with dealers.
  • Have a whatever-it-takes attitude
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Be an enthusiastic problem solver with excellent communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years solar experience. Experience working at a solar dealership or recruiting/selling to solar dealers is a big plus.

Be able and open to receive communication from ESP and dealers during off-time hours.

  • High School Degree or Equivalent minimum. Higher education/certifications are a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor
