Description
Engineer, verify, integrate, debug, and release multiple ADAS Compute Platforms (ACPx) Virtual Electronic Control Unit (VECU) to internal customers. Mentor and define work scope perform by team of 10 GM software engineers and software developers to validate ACPx platform software prior to release to customers. Set technical objectives and platform regression testing strategies to verify proper implementation of production intent software to all vehicle specific architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements for Diagnostics, Signal to Service Gateway (S2SGW), Camera Driver (QCD), Platform Health Manager (PHM), Driver Monitoring System (DMS), CommQos, Publish Subscribe (PubSub), Endof Line (EOL), and 15 related features, in C, Python, and QNX programming languages, in Linux operating system, using Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Eclipse IDE, Vector CANoe, ETAS INCA, IBM Rational DOORS, and DPS tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Evaluate and review Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC), Parameter Identifier (PID), Routine Identifier (RID), and Data Identifier (DID) data from Controller Area Network (CAN) bus messages, Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus messages, and Automotive Ethernet messages to perform root cause analysis and debug software
Additional Description
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related. One (1) year of experience as Engineer or related. Must also have experience with: setting regression testing strategies to verify implementation of External Object Calculation Module (EOCM), ADAS Compute Platform, or active safety Electronic Control Unit (ECU) production intent software to meet vehicle technical and safety requirements, in C and Python programming languages, or related
