Description
- Design, simulate, debug, and release MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow models and autogenerated C code software for embedded Brake System Module (BSM) and Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) and features including brake remedial actions, brake system status, Primary Brake Module (PBM) subsystem status, Secondary Brake Subsystem (SBM) status, and dynomode, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Design, develop, and integrate conventional ICE passenger vehicle, Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) embedded BSM and EBCM software, in Embedded C, using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, ETAS INCA, dSPACE ControlDesk, CarSim, and Artifactory and other tools, following Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) CERT C standards and GM software development process.
- Create and execute brake feature tests using Model in the Loop (MIL), Software in the Loop (SIL), Hardware in the Loop (HIL), and Vehicle in the Loop (VIL) simulation test benches and in vehicle.
Additional Description
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- One (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role.
- Experience designing, simulating, and releasing MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow models and autogenerated C code software for passenger vehicle or off highway vehicle embedded module and feature following Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) CERT C standards.
