- Design and develop GM ICE passenger, Battery Electric Vehicle, and non-automotive application embedded Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including Vehicle Integration Control Module, ADAS Compute Platform and related, in Embedded C and Python programming languages, using Vehicle Spy, ETAS INCA, AutoVal, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, Jira Align, Artifactory, Eclipse IDE, IBM DOORS NG, Visual Studio Code, DPS, and SharePoint tools, and neoVI FIRE2 and Lauterbach Trace32 hardware, MISRA C, CERT C and GM cybersecurity standards, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Develop communication using CAN bus, LIN bus, Serial Peripheral Interface, and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols, microprocessor memory and integrity, and read/analyze Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Parameter and Data Identifiers messages to identify and troubleshoot potential failures and for issue resolution.
- Perform embedded ECU testing on HIL test bench and in vehicle, using ETAS INCA, Vehicle Spy, and Vector CANoe tools, and above hardware, to verify functionality at Function, Controller and System levels prior to production release.
