Software Internship
Kodak Alaris is actively seeking a self-motivated and versatile candidate to provide development support for the Kodak Moments Network Operations Team. Working under the guidance of a senior developer, the candidate will explore various design approaches for a Customer Request Form. Based on this investigation, an approach will be selected, and the candidate will be responsible for designing and developing both the user interface and the relevant backend infrastructure.
The candidate's role extends from translating specifications into design to creating the next generation of the tool. In addition to code development following standard software practices, the individual will also produce documentation and conduct internal training on how to effectively utilize the tool's capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work on a team dedicated to developing and extending the PRF (customer request form) using Microsoft Power Automate or Azure cloud tool kit where appropriate.
• Design, code, benchmark test, debug and document the new PRF Form.
• Improve web interface so that its more intuitive and easier to capture a customer's intent.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects and problems.
• Participate in work product reviews (e.g. code design).
• Support Performance Improvement Process
• Create clear documentation to allow reusability and maintenance of the code
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university obtaining a minimum bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA in Computer Science or related discipline
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
• Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively in a dynamic environment where goals and specifications are constantly changing.
• Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
• Orientation toward detail and thoroughness
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to product delivery, maintenance and software configuration control.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint collaboration platform
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate platform.
• Working knowledge of the following programming language:
- React and JavaScript
- C#, Java, Perl, HTML and CSS
- SQL Server and T-SQL
- Azure API's
- Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET
