The OpportunityMedPage Today, a property of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a Software Engineering Intern for our growing team. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about digital product development and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This is a very hands-on experience, we expect interns to contribute with creative ideas and demonstrate their knowledge of web development and coding. You will be expected to produce and demonstrate a working Proof of Concept application, with multiple check-ins on progress throughout the Internship.
Key Responsibilities- Developing web based applications (coding, programming)
- Debugging and testing code
- Researching, investigating and fixing a wide range of technical issues
- Collaborating with senior leaders
- Approaching problems and creating solutions
- working with consuming data from third party API endpoints
- Proactively learn about new technologies
- Sophomore (or higher) level education in Computer Science, Computer information Systems, Software Engineering or related area
- Experience with various programming languages
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
