The Opportunity
The Adobe Experience Manager Sites extensibility team is looking for an open-minded Software Development Engineer who loves to address complexity with simplicity, who sees elegance in extensibility and composition, and who measures the quality of solutions by ease of use.

Together we will design, implement, and bring to life new possibilities to customize and extend Adobe Experience Manager and integrate it with other platforms and services.
What you'll Do
Kick-off and accelerate the evolution of Adobe developer technologies by writing high-level technical proposals and advocating for them with peers, product managers, and organization leaders.
Bring your vision to life by architecting and building services, frameworks, libraries, and development tools.
Enhance the Adobe ecosystem by suggesting product improvements for extensibility and collaborating with various teams to implement these improvements.
Collaborate with Adobe partners and customers, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions directly to end-users.
Actively engage external developers by promoting solutions through the creation of blog posts, preparing learning materials, and participating in conferences.
What you need to succeed
5+ years of professional experience in designing and developing web applications, APIs, frameworks, and libraries.
Proficiency in JavaScript (browser and Node.js), HTML, and CSS.
Hands-on experience with React and related libraries.
Experience in developing enterprise software with multiple integrations.
Innovative, collaborative, and user-first mentality in everything you build.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Commerce is a significant advantage.
Experience and understanding in crafting dashboards for telemetry and user metrics.
Exposure to microservices and distributed systems is an encouraged addition.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure is a plus.
Participation in open-source initiatives and developer communities is also valued.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
