Objective: The Social Media / Marketing Assistant role balances two areas of responsibility: growing our social media reach, and supporting key marketing programs. In the Social Media aspect of the role, you will leverage your expertise in social media marketing and be responsible for developing and implementing our strategy across social media platforms, with the goal of expanding customer engagement, building brand awareness, and supporting company objectives. In the Marketing Assistant aspect of the role, you will collaborate with other team members and provide support to a wide range of marketing and outreach initiatives. Ideal candidates are familiar with the banking industry and have a passion for engaging with our growing customer base.
Classification: This position is a Full-Time Non-Exempt position who reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Social
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with company objectives, supporting both Community First Bank of Indiana and Community First Investment Group.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and execute integrated campaigns that include social media.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages across social media platforms.
- Analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into our social media strategy.
- Monitor and report on competitors' social media activity and adjust our strategy accordingly.
- Adhere to a consistent brand voice and maintain company brand standards in all product support materials and communications.
Marketing - Maintains Community First Bank of Indiana and Community First Investment Group online directory listings.
- Assisting with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events (for example, Annual Shareholder Meeting).
- Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Marketing, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse responsibilities.
- Assists Travel Officer with Journey Club events, as needed.
- Build a working knowledge of products and company through close collaboration with Marketing and other cross-functional teams.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-2 years of experience preferred in marketing or social media management.
- Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Experience in creating engaging content and campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics and social media management platforms (like Hootsuite)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, and/or other graphic and video creation tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy and consistency
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Creative mindset to generate a steady stream of fresh content ideas
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
