Social Media Specialist Contractor

Our agency is looking for Social Media help to support our professional services clients in the form of strategy and copywriting. Experience in this vertical is strongly preferred—if you’ve worked with law firms or accounting practices, we might be made for each other!

We know social content involves a lot of moving parts, but we’re here to help. We have an in-house graphic designer who fields visuals (although you would work closely with them to provide guidance).

Strategy is an important component as well. This is your chance to put your experience to work! While we collaborate with clients on annual and long-term goals and have built out strategies complete with content pillars, we rely on you to make it happen month-over-month. (Don’t worry—you’ll either sit in on calls with clients or have access to recorded client meetings. It’s important that you stay in the loop!)

Wondering about the volume of work? Of course, you are! Our clients typically require 2-3 posts a week for their channels. Social copy is repurposed (with some slight variations) between platforms. Some of these clients also have email newsletters that we need a hand with also, but this content is largely pulled from the approved social.

We aim to work ahead to make it as stress-free as possible for everyone. There are a couple of clients that do require some copy turnaround within a couple of days, but we’re happy to talk through what that looks like if more notice is preferred.

• Responsiveness (we’re fully remote so communication is everything!)
• Timely delivery (can’t stress this enough!)
• Strong attention to detail (especially standard social conventions)
• Willingness to ask questions (we’re here to help support you!)
