- A degree in a communications, marketing, or related discipline.
- 2-5 years’ experience in digital media, marketing, or public relations with a focus on social media
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills and experience writing for multiple social media audiences and platforms
- Proven experience overseeing paid social media campaigns
- Demonstrated knowledge of both popular and emergent social networks and digital platforms with the ability to implement strategy across various media
- Experience with social media publishing and creative platforms such as (but not exclusively) Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Canva, Office 365 Suite, and Adobe
- Creative Cloud
- Experience creating and publishing content across social media, including Facebook (and Instagram), LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and YouTube
- Demonstrated comprehension of paid social/digital and programmatic marketing best practices
- Knowledge of social media strategic planning, measurement, and content marketing, and a proven ability to execute quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of creative best practices and principles for social and digital media
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage resources and the execution of multiple projects on an ongoing basis

- Creating, collaborating, and publishing social media Content and messaging on Rotary’s flagship channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and YouTube, under the supervision of the Social Media Strategy Lead and working closely with the Social Media Strategist
- Developing and scheduling posts for multiple social media channels, featuring content supporting Rotary’s multiple causes, initiatives, and events
- Supporting the Social Media Strategy Lead in content creation, curation, and posting on Rotary leadership social channels
- Supporting and partnering with the Social Media Strategist in content creation and posting on Rotary flagship social channels
- Partnering with colleagues on the Design, Visual Media, Marketing, and other teams to develop social-first creative concepts
- Creating a paid social media strategy with a $200,000 budget to support Rotary Content and initiatives with the Social Media Strategy Lead, and working closely with the Manager of Social Media
- Developing and programming paid social campaigns for Rotary social media channels
- Collaborating with colleagues on the Marketing & Communications and Social Media teams to align paid social campaigns with marketing plans and seasonal objectives and initiatives, including the annual convention
- Manage creative development of assets to support paid campaigns in multiple languages, in collaboration with Visual Media, Digital Content, and Global Communications and Design teams
- Coordinating with the Supervisor, Social Analytics and Audience Development, and the Data Insights Lead on Paid Media campaign reporting, analytics and insights
- Leveraging paid social media to support brand advertising campaigns, and flagship events, including the annual convention and World Polio Day
