My client, Q Mixers is one of the fastest growing premium beverage mixer brands in the US, purposely crafted with premium ingredients, less sugar and more fizz. We are looking for a Social Media Specialist / Content Producer to grow Q Mixer's Social Media presence, drive cultural relevance and cultivate a digital community. You will act as the digital brand champion and ambassador, spreading love of Q wherever you go. This role will report to the Brand Manager.
About You
We are looking for someone who has a pulse on the culture who loves to grow brands and build a digital community. You love hopping on trends, creating thumb-stopping content and building our brand across all key channels. You know how to create content for organic and paid Social Media and how to continue to build the brand and great partnerships.
You love TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest. You understand what content works on those platforms and how to repurpose across channels. You can see the trends and know how to twist them to work for a brand. You can capture and edit content quickly and efficiently, understanding what content people are gravitating towards. You also love diving into the analytics, using past wins to drive new content.
About The Role
The role will develop the monthly content calendar and create or source content for our core channels. This role will produce content needed and/or leverage assets that exist in-house, with agency partners, and through UGC and influencer content. We're looking for someone who wants to create a community by engaging in trending content, rewarding consumers for showcasing Q, and cultivating a strong digital community
This is a remote role and should be based with preference given to candidates in the New York/New York tri-state area, with up to 30% travel to capture content at brand sponsored activations.

Responsibilities:
70% - Content Creation:
- Introduce people to the Q Mixers brand through engaging and entertaining Social Media videos
- Create timely, on-trend video content for Q Mixers' digital channels that resonates with our key audience
- Capturing Q in the wild locally at bars, restaurants, and brand activations to help showcase how the brand is enjoyed out of home
- Leveling-up our Social Media videos with your advanced filming and editing skills
- Introduce new, zeitgeisty ideas to the team to directly impact the growth of our overall Social Media presence that align with marketing campaigns
- Act as the voice of Q, both in person and via keyboard, providing engaging copy for social posts
- Assume the role of on-camera talent, leveraging your charisma to connect with our audiences
15% - Strategy + Planning
- Refine and further build our Social Media strategy primarily for organic social
- Utilize insights, creativity and knowledge of cultural moments to create monthly content calendars for all platforms
- Schedule posts via Sprout social for approval + post organically as needed
- Create weekly quick hit internal round ups on what is trending on Social Media and brands to partner with for extended reach
- Perform analysis and deliver insights to drive actionable decision making that help us sharpen our content and delivery
- Work with strategic content management in mind; develop and manage an intuitive content database, tag, categorize, and archive content in an easily accessible manne
15% - Community Management + Admin:
- Lead the community management and surprise and delight of loyal Q fans
- Cultivate a digital community by interacting with our brands and other creators on Instagram and TikTok to join cultural conversations
- Manage capturing and reposting influencer content and user generated content
- Send out Q Mixers product to fans and influencers as necessary
Qualifications
- 2-4 years in Social Media and content production, ideating, filming and editing short-form videos for TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, or related field
- Ability to trend-spot and quickly pitch, shoot, and edit creative ideas based on specific trends
- Stellar video filming and editing skills
- Ability to adapt and hone brand tone of voice by platform for community management excellence
- Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout, Talkwalker, or similar Social Media tracking, listening, and monitoring tools
What you should have already:
- Deep knowledge of the Social Media universe, inclusive of evolving trends, audiences, breakthrough content execution and KPIs
- A love of storytelling and brand building in short form digital spaces
- Strong ability to multitask and manage timelines
- A strong proficiency in building frameworks and processes but with ability to be agile and flexible
- Ability to execute with strong attention to detail quickly, adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions around limitations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Bonus if you:
- Have been a bartender or alcohol brand ambassador
- Worked in house at a beverage/alcohol brand or at creative agency working in the beverage/alcohol space
- Are experienced working in Canva and Adobe products
