Overview:
We're excited to welcome a driven and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern specializing in Content Creation and Social Media. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in content marketing, Social Media management, SEO strategies, and various marketing projects within a dynamic environment at Excelsior Communities. Excelsior Communities is a property management company that has been operating in Rochester, NY since 2016. Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content across multiple platforms, maintaining brand consistency and tone.
- Assist in managing the Social Media calendar, brainstorming content ideas, and scheduling posts.
- Support the implementation of incentive programs aimed at boosting user engagement and interaction.
- Contribute to SEO efforts by optimizing website Content and assisting in keyword research.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on diverse projects, providing creative input and assistance.
Requirements:
- Strong writing skills and a passion for content creation.
- Familiarity with Social Media platforms and an eagerness to learn about Social Media management tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and a willingness to learn and implement strategies.
- Creative thinking and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience with content creation, Social Media management, or digital marketing (not mandatory but advantageous).
- Familiarity with analytics tools or a willingness to learn their application in marketing decisions.
- Photography, videography, and Graphic Design skills are a plus.
