Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Marketing Director to lead our online presence and marketing strategies, particularly in the elective healthcare sector. This role involves comprehensive management of our digital platforms to boost our brand, engage with our community, and drive effective marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive Social Media Strategy:
- Oversee all aspects of Social Media management across platforms like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create and implement content calendars in collaboration with internal teams.
- Produce engaging content tailored to our brand, including patient stories, educational articles, and event promotions.
2. Design and Visual Branding:
- Oversee the design of Social Media graphics, including profiles, cover photos, thumbnails, landing pages, and ad designs.
- Ensure consistent branding across all digital touchpoints.
3. Community Engagement and Brand Building:
- Engage with various communities and stakeholders online.
- Promptly respond to social interactions, maintaining our brand voice and reputation.
4. Content and Campaign Management:
- Develop content topics to effectively reach and engage our target customers.
- Coordinate with outsourced marketing companies/resources when necessary.
- Manage website content to align with Social Media efforts and user engagement strategies.
5. Analytics and ROI:
- Monitor key metrics such as audience growth, engagement rates, cost per lead, and lead conversion rates.
- Continuously analyze ROI to guide and optimize marketing strategies.
6. Market Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated with Social Media trends and platform updates.
- Incorporate innovative strategies to stay competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Social Media, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in elective healthcare marketing (e.g., vision correction surgery, plastic surgery, dentistry, orthodontics, dermatology, oculoplastics, med spas, etc).
- Demonstrated ability in strategic Social Media management, content creation, and graphic design.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro, Canva, WordPress, or similar).
- Exceptional communication skills with expertise in content creation and adaptation for various platforms.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills, with experience in working with internal teams and external marketing resources.
- Comprehensive understanding of Social Media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience in Social Media copywriting, asset coordination, community management, and use of native scheduling and reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfortable with analytics and reporting tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
