Job description

We are hiring a B2C Social Media Marketing Manager to join our global team at Xsolla. In this role, you will manage and execute the external messaging, campaigns and communications on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and other social channels aimed at connecting and engaging with our player and consumer community.  

You will engage with members of our community to help solve problems, answer questions, receive feedback, and coordinate responses to have a clear and united presentation of Xsolla. If writing, technology, gaming, external marketing communications and customer service comes easily to you, and you have a knack for game tech, Social Media, and forums then this is the opportunity for you. 

When working on the Marketing team and collaborating with our product teammates, you listen well, collaborate seamlessly, and will not be afraid to share innovative new ideas. As an individual, you are accountable, trustworthy, and proactively motivated. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA or Raleigh, NC and you'll report to the Social Media Marketing Manager, based in Los Angeles.

RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Oversee day-to-day delivery of social content campaigns and ensure brand consistency
    • Facilitate scaling brand and product awareness through various Social Media channels
    • Work with the Marketing and Product teams to execute the Social Media editorial content calendar on a monthly basis
    • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
    • Deliver upon all aspects of Social Media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience
    • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular Social Media platforms such as but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
    • Create and execute upon the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly KPIs and initiatives
    • Produce and deliver Social Media analysis on the effectiveness, ROI/KPI and engagement metrics on our products
    • Maintain Social Media best practices and provide all marketing team members and stakeholders with updates on new channel features
    • QA Social Media posts prior to setting up in Social Media management platform
    • QA Social Media posts once live to verify external links, post fits in UI and community sentiment/feedback
    • Work with growth team to evaluate and plan for amplification of posts
REQUIREMENTS
    • 5+ years of Social Media management experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
    • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite
    • We're looking for candidates who have deep knowledge of gaming, community trends, and ideally who have knowledge of and experience with the games we support
    • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
    • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, tagging and internet ranking for web content
    • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
    • Experience in handling crisis communications via social platform interactions
    • Video game industry experience required

    • Performs well on cross-functional project teams and with external vendors
    • Flexible work hours as we are a global company
    • Understands the full spectrum of skill required to manage customer-centric relationships with partners

$50,000 - $55,000 a year
