JOB DESCRIPTION:
This creative role collaborates closely with the Fresh ‘n Crisp Farms ownership team to build awareness, engagement and relationships that grow our business (lettuce!). Lead all brand communications and develop effective marketing campaigns to grow awareness, engagement and brand affinity. Craft engaging, informative and memorable content, stories and creative design in all spheres of influence: social, website, media, email marketing, print, etc. Create a community of lettuce lovers and brand advocates.

We’re launching a visual rebrand this year with beautiful high-design packaging, website, social assets, and more. REQUIREMENTS:
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● High energy and enthusiasm; warm, friendly, and engaging. Enjoys variety
● Personable, capable of building relationships and winning people over
● Proactive, strategic leader: Can recommend a course of action, prioritize and execute
● Organized and detail-oriented: Can plan and execute effectively and efficiently
● 5+ years experience marketing and/or Social Media management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead Marketing and Social Media Strategy, with agency support as needed
● PR & media relations: Pitch media to share our story & engage consumers
● Squarespace Website: Collaborate with agency partners on our website redesign. Lead ongoing maintenance to ensure content is current, accurate and compelling
● Squarespace Email Newsletter: ~1 per month (or less)
● Design: Ideal candidate has a good eye, aesthetic sense, and experience with basic design tools (e.g. Canva) to make attractive branded creative that drives engagement
● Maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
● Lead all Social Media content creation and management
○ Facebook, Instagram; potentially TikTok
○ Social media advertising
○ Influencer marketing
○ Food industry experience preferred (e.g. familiarity with recipe videos)
○ Experience with Social Media scheduling software preferred

Fresh ‘n Crisp Farms is a thriving, innovative greenhouse lettuce start-up that has rapidly grown to reach 700+ stores in 6 states since launching in 2020. Our mission is to improve access to healthy, farm-fresh, local greens throughout our region – without the use of pesticides, preservatives or GMOs, ever. We donate 3,000-5,000 containers of lettuce each year to people in need through food banks. Our growing process is highly sustainable, using 90% less water than conventional methods, and 92% less shipping fuel vs organic California-grown greens.
