Social Media Manager - Hybrid

Position Overview:

As the Social Media Manager at Spear Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Social Media strategy. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including organic and paid Social Media management, public relations, copywriting, event marketing, and overall brand representation across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Brand and Marketing to align Social Media efforts with Spear's strategic priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Social Media strategy (both organic and paid) that aligns with Spear's strategic priorities.
• Manage the Social Media budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for optimal results.
• Create and curate engaging content for various Social Media platforms.
• Maintain the Content Calendar for the online newsroom, ensuring a consistent flow of relevant and timely content.
• Support the development and execution of public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Interact with the online community, responding to comments, inquiries, and representing the SPEAR brand effectively.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate Social Media into broader marketing initiatives.
• Measure and report on the performance of Social Media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in Social Media and public relations.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Social Media management, including both organic and paid strategies.
• Proven experience in public relations, copywriting, and content creation.
• Familiarity with SEO, customer journey marketing, and lead generation strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of Social Media campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop and execute a tactical plan for each Social Media avenue.
• Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to think strategically.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Social Media and public relations.
• Proficiency in Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful Social Media campaigns.
