Social Media Manager

Our client, a major union in Manhattan is seeking a qualified candidate to join their team for a temp to perm opportunity as a Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and manage all Social Media posts on Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, and LinkedIn to increase awareness of the clients brand
2. Place targeted paid ads on Social Media sites
3. Film and edit our videos using original and stock footage
4. Capture project images by visiting job sites
5. Create trade journal ads
6. Create blog posts for the website
7. Create a monthly report of our Social Media pages, website, and SmartBrief, analyzing followers, impressions, and engagements
8. Maintain membership and target audience databases for Social Media targeting
9. Support event planning as needed
10. Support ad hoc projects as required

Experience and Skills:

1. Social Media Manager experience
2. Strong copywriting skills
3. Strong creative design sense
4. Social media paid advertising experience
5. Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
6. Experience shooting and editing video with Adobe Premiere Pro
7. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
8. Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Social Media analytics is a plus
9. Experience with Google Ads
10. Must have strong organizational skills
11. Ability to carry video equipment, up to 30 lbs., if needed
