The Role
As a part of a Marketing unit uniquely focused on directly supporting our portfolio of Food + Beverage venues and programs, the Social Media Manager will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. The role is responsible for developing Restaurant + Bar brands driven by organic visibility and positioning these venues as leading dining and entertainment destinations.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Experience with developing and executing organic social campaigns and programs that drive follower growth, and engagement and build overall brand awareness with an eye for messaging, content and socially driven stories.
- Ideal would be candidates with experience or a demonstrated interest in the hospitality, food + beverage, or restaurant + bar industries.
- Strong understanding of the digital content landscape - experience working with a variety of platforms and mediums.
- Established relationships with content creators, influencers and other key players within the Social Media landscape.
- Play a key role in developing the social strategy for Slutty Vegan and Bar Vegan Restaurant + Bar current channels (IG, FB, LinkedIn) as well as new platforms (e.g., TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter).
- Bring new ideas for channel-first series, with an aim to develop best-in-class social experiences as well as cultivate our existing and prospective member communities through content and storytelling.
- Plan, create, post, and monitor content across channels, ensuring quality and style is consistent and engaging; define and maintain best practices for community management.
- Manage and develop relationships with content creators/influencers who represent a cross-section of creative sectors.
- Alongside brand creative and marketing leadership, manage external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Collaborate with internal partners on brand campaigns to deliver cohesive messaging and stories across channels.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within the local operations, human resources, events, retail and marketing teams; identify opportunities to deliver impact on set business goals that feed into larger marketing campaigns.
- Manage monthly shoots, content production, asset library and content calendar.
- Identify success metrics; proactively measure, analyze and report back results.
- Ability to work quickly and pivot when needed to respond to real-time moments and priority requests.
- Proactive, self-sufficient working style and creative problem solver; strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to forge internal relationships and work within cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to drive strategies that deliver results.
