The California Music Hall Of Fame is seeking a Social Media intern who would like to gain experience in the music industry and can help spread the word about our organization and increase our visibility. The Social Media Intern must have the ability to multi-task and be able to meet deadlines and be able to start immediately. The Social Media Intern will be responsible for researching, creating, and posting about our upcoming induction ceremony, our inductees, American music, and up-and-coming artists, brainstorming campaign and contest ideas, interacting with followers, and fostering relationships with music professionals. Our ideal candidate will be full of creative ideas, a self-starter who can work independently and unsupervised, and is eager to contribute. This internship is ideal for someone who wants to pursue or has a passion for the music industry and would like to get their foot in the door. We encourage you to tailor this internship to meet your career and education goals. This is an academic credit, resume credit position. Responsibilities:```
- Create and curate engaging content for Social Media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Develop and implement Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Monitor Social Media channels for trends, news, and opportunities to engage with the target audience
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Assist in managing Social Media accounts, including scheduling posts and monitoring comments and messages
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform Social Media content creation
- Use analytics tools to track and report on Social Media performance metrics

- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing
- Familiarity with Social Media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer
