SalaryPETERMAYER is seeking an intern to join our Social Media team!

You'll need to think differently, work faster, and understand the power and passion of our team and agency employees – every one of us working towards a common goal: building our clients’ businesses.
Responsibilities include:
- Learn how to become an effective Social Media strategist in an agency setting where we work with clients to achieve their goals.
- Assist Social Media team in brainstorming sessions, planning social content and other general Social Media management and community management. Also, learn the platforms and tools we use to create Social Media content.
- Assist Social Media team in researching competitors, staying on top of the social-specific trends and platform updates, as well as collecting data from social platforms and then forming insights to share with the team.
- Complete other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Prior experience and/or coursework in related field (advertising, marketing or communications).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Seasoned in PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
- Brainstorming/group discussion skills.
- Collaborative work style and comfortable in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
Internships at PETERMAYER begin May 20 and run for 12 weeks, through August 9. Commitment to this time frame should be considered prior to application. Our interns are paid $15/hour. Interns will need to be able to commit up to 30 hours/week. Remote internships from the following states will be considered: LA, AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, MS, OH, OR, TX, WV.
Interns will use their own computers.
