Social Media Intern

Sundae School NY team is looking for an intern who will aid the Marketing team in Social Media planning, copywriting, and content deck creation. This person is interested/curious in Asian-American culture, and has previous experience in meme development and witty copywriting composition for all platforms (Social Media, email, and PR).

In this role, you will leverage your skills to assist the Community Manager and Marketing Manager. We’re looking for someone with a strong initiative and a "how can I help" mentality, and the willingness to support the team where needed. The primary day-to-day tasks will be assisting the Community and Marketing Managers in copywriting, content deck formulation, Social Media management, and outreach.

This is a Full-Time position at our NY office/LES. Start date is February/March.

Starting Rate: $16/hr

Key Deliverables And Responsibilities:

Copywriting: Assist Marketing Manager with email marketing campaigns as well as Social Media

Social Media: Assist Marketing Manager with Social Media planning and content deck creation

Gifting: Assist Community Manager on reaching out to influencers and managing emails/DMs. Will additionally help on keeping track of gifting

Activation: Assist Community Manager on working at in person activations

Requirements

Main Requirements:

• Experience in copywriting and the ability to match our company tone
• Experience in content deck creation

• Passion for Social Media and a deep understanding about current trends on Instagram & TikTok
• Self-motivator who is not afraid to pitch new/innovative ideas
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Strong cross functional communication skills
• Per state law, you must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English (Reading, Writing, & Speaking)
