Job Description:
Musa Marketing, a platform dedicated to empowering young people of color by providing employment opportunities and career development resources, is seeking a proactive Social Media Management Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in Social Media outreach and aims to connect with and support individuals seeking to embark on their professional journey within their respective industries.
Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in Social Media outreach to curate and expand an email list, fostering connections with young individuals of color seeking career development opportunities.
- Proactively reach out to a minimum of 500 individuals per week, initiating conversations and promoting Musa Marketing's initiatives and resources.
- Learn to develop and implement content plans and strategies under the guidance of the team, contributing to driving engagement and expanding the audience base.
- Gain experience in creating content for marketing strategies, including Social Media posts, campaigns, and other materials aligned with Musa Marketing's objectives and brand identity.
Qualifications:
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in providing opportunities for young people of color in their career development.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging with a diverse audience effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt, demonstrating interest in creating and implementing content strategies to foster engagement and outreach.
- Capacity to work independently, meet targets, and actively contribute within a collaborative team environment.
