Salary Range $31.45-$47.75

JOB SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for implementing the Farmworker Community and Family health Program for migrant and seasonal Farmworkers operated by Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas. Works under the supervision of the Outreach Manager and other Management personnel as designated.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for creating, copywriting, and publishing Social Media content for Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas.

Schedule and publish posts across all Social Media channels.

Analyzes results and provides reports of events and campaigns. Documents statistics, using appropriate forms and monitoring data collection for the evaluation of the Social Media project.

Provides verbal and written feedback to supervisors regarding progress of project.

Community with stakeholders and outreach team to understand goals and develop Social Media strategies/plans to support campaigns, events, initiatives, etc.

Respond to inquiries as they come in across all Social Media channels. Brings patient concerns to the attention of the administration and providers.

Prepare and conduct culturally end linguistically appropriate Social Media posts.

Develop or update simple surveys in English/Spanish (or other language as appropriate) to assess the basic social and medical needs of our clinic patients and community.

Assists in development of communication links and networking between promotors, health aides, end CSVS and agency personnel.

Maintains a good working relationship within the department and with other departments.

Always demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Demonstrates ability to listen, communicate effectively and express ideas clearly following appropriate channels of communication.

Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function well in stressful situations.

Demonstrates awareness of the responsibilities of the position and how it interfaces with the rest of the healthcare team. Works closely with all department members as required, is flexible to meet the needs of the department and changes in the workplace.

Completes annual educational requirements.

Maintains regulatory requirements including but not limited to CPR certification, annual physical assessment and PPD testing requirements.

Communicates verbally, in a clear and concise manner.

Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

Communicates and abides by CSVS mission, vision, values, ethics and guiding principles.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one year work experience in public contact job, preferably service related.
  • Experience or interest in healthcare.

REGULARTORY REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts/Science in Communications, Business, Marketing, or Public Health
2+ years of experience in digital content creation and management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative and innovative thinker and storyteller.
Experience with graphic design and video editing software.

Experience with Social Media marketing.
Experience with content management and delivery while adhering to brand awareness.
Experience with marketing automation software.
Photography and videography experience.
Strong understanding of SEO,

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Other languages preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Basic computer knowledge, word processing and database management.
  • Previous experience working with underserved populations, multicultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to communicate well under pressure and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and with a variety of different groups/individuals (farm workers, community leaders, clinic staff).
  • Bicultural sensitivity, ability to work independently.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.
  • Well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to clinic setting.
