Social Media Content Creator

Interested in the automotive industry? Tuttle-Click Automotive Group is in search of a motivated and creative Social Media intern. This paid opportunity is ideal for students in their final years of undergraduate or graduate studies, majoring in Marketing or related fields, who are based in the Orange County area and able to come to our dealerships located in Irvine, Tustin, and San Juan Capistrano. We're looking for individuals with a profound passion in the automotive industry, digital marketing, and creativity. This position will be working closely with the marketing department in efforts to continue building and elevating our automotive group's Social Media presence.
Compensation: The Social Media Content Creator has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.00 and $22.00

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage our 3rd party Social Media team.
• Plan and create quality and engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube focused on our dealerships / vehicles for sale. This includes creating captivating images, writing scripts, recording videos, and occasionally performing on camera.
• Post and manage content on our Social Media platforms.
• Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments.
• Having a working understanding of vehicle features to showcase.
• Willingness to adapt and evolve with the ever-changing digital media landscape.

Qualifications:

• Be in your junior or senior year pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism or a related field.
• Completed coursework relevant to the job (journalism and/or digital strategy classes, writing seminars, graphic design courses, etc.)
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong understanding of Social Media marketing and content strategy.
• Photoshop and video editing software capabilities are strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge and curiosity in social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.)
• Passion to understand what drives people to engage with and share content.
• Receive constructive feedback openly and positively.
• Eagerness to work in a high-performing and highly collaborative environment.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• The ability to efficiently manage requests from multiple colleagues.
• Some experience with systems including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Facebook Advertising experience is a plus!
• Working knowledge of dealership practices is a plus!
• Proven experience as a Social Media creator with a strong portfolio is a plus!
