We are currently hiring a Social Media Content Creator, Hard Mountain Dew , to work remotely.

As a Social Content Creator, you are all over capturing and creating content natively within social platforms. You’re quick to test out new platforms and features, developing creative and engaging content. You’ve probably been creating TikToks for years and were excited to bring your talents to Instagram when Reels were introduced. You follow more meme accounts than brand accounts, and you’re all about crafting a good joke. You’ll be on a team of strategic marketers, who will collaborate with you to identify trending cultural moments and content formats. You’ll take the lead on developing this content, cleverly weaving in product and brand stories to connect with our drinkers in the most relevant way. You’ll work on the Hard Mountain Dew team, reporting into our Sr. Manager of Integrated Communications.

What You'll Brew:

• Develop, design, and edit organic Social Media assets and paid ads for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok (once they allow alcohol brands)
• Act as the voice of the brand on the front lines with drinkers by responding to every tweet, DM, Instagram comment, and more in real-time
• Capitalize on live events and real-time opportunities relevant to our communities by quickly creating content that reinforces the brand’s personality and tone of voice
• Monitor social platforms for emerging trends and meme/video formats and incorporate into Hard Mountain Dew’s Social Media Content
• Shoot and edit mobile video content for social platforms, taking ideas from the concept stage all the way to final production
• Write copy for memes, post captions, and video scripts
• Brainstorm innovative content ideas and platform hacks that capture attention and increase engagement and following
• Use Photoshop and/or Illustrator to create graphic content for social channels
• Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Integrated Communications, Brand Manager, and PR Manager to develop a content calendar
• Assist in identifying relevant influencer partners and reviewing their content ensuring brand fit
• Report on social performance, sharing new learnings and community insights with the team and recommendations for how to apply them to future work
• Ability to travel locally within your market frequently, and for trainings and meetings (~10% travel)

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Social Media Content creation experience for either a brand or an agency
• Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Familiarity with mobile apps to develop social first content
• Ability to shoot and edit mobile videos
• Strong writing skills that create a clear and consistent brand voice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree

Level: 7

In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $22.00 - $45.00 per hour.
