A large dairy operation located in Wisconsin is searching for a hands-on Dairy Site Manager who has a well-rounded background in milking, feeding, calves, maternity, and herd health. This position requires someone with excellent leadership and motivational skills to oversee the day-to-day operation of the dairy facility to ensure the dairy herd is running effectively. This candidate is responsible for overseeing milkers, feeders, herdsmen, and the youngstock, and dairy maintenance crews. This person will report to farm manager to achieve the goals and expectations of the dairy herd. This person will work closely with veterinarian and nutritionist to maintain and improve production in the herd and ensure calf growth and development. Employer prefers someone with Dairy Spanish speaking abilities, but not required. Computer experience is required.
