Location: Sign Shop – Ames Iowa
Shift Requirements: Monday through Friday 7:00 to 3:30 (in person)
As a Sign Fabricator 1, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Hand Appling lay out of text and symbols for road signs using blueprints
- Silk Screening Road signs
- Operation of a squeeze roller to apply reflective sheeting to substrate of signage
- Inventory & Warehousing of raw material and finished signs using a barcode radio system
- Using tools such as tape measures, rollers, scissors, saws, drill presses, grinders, sanders, power tools
- Customer service
- Understand and apply OSHA standards
- Understand and apply MSDS contents
- Keep work areas in a safe, neat and orderly fashion
