Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving Clerk

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Preparing and packaging product for shipment per company standards
• Receiving all materials and products from vendors
• Upon receiving freight- match BOL to PO, notate date, stock number, and log location in warehouse
• Enter receiving information in the computer and place in warehouse or deliver to proper personnel
• Complete shipping documentation and print required attachments for company product
• Aid in identifying possible order entry errors
• Prepare documents necessary for shipping orders through specified carriers and shipment method (standard freight or expedited freight)
• Contact freight carriers and coordinate shipping rates and schedules
• Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy by following established procedures
• Pull material from inventory
• Enter returned material into inventory and log new warehouse location
• Work in professional manner with all customers and fellow employees both internal and external
• Keep the production and warehouse areas clean and safe
• End of month inventory- OT may be required
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous packing and shipping experience
• Experience in material handling equipment essential, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. and safe operations
• Ability to read packing list and work instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with Production Manager and CSR
• Clear handwriting skills for completion of documentation
• Experience in shipping documentation and coordinating freight carriers
• Experience with UPS/Worldship/Trifecta/Global/Messenger preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
